Taste of Spring: Taste of Spring is May 8th, 2008! Member tickets are $40 and non-member tickets are $65. Purchase 2 non-member tickets and receive a one year membership to Friends. Contributions are also welcome and Sponsorship opportunities are available!	Amount to donate
Raimondi Project Fund: Friends is currently undergoing fundraising efforts to renovate Ernie Raimondi Field in West Oakland. If you are interested in helping us out with this effort please aid us by donating funds to this project. To learn more about each project go to our Raimondi page.	Amount to donate
Raimondi Brick: Be a part of the park. Purchase either a $250 (4x8) or $500 (8x8) brick that will be installed at Raimondi Park. You will have up to 3 or 6 lines of text to provide someone a lasting memento. You can purchase your brick(s) on line and fill out the corresponding form found at the bottom of this link - Raimondi. Grants: Support Friends grant program by aiding our efforts to provide funds for scholarships, program supplies, garden materials, and other projects that aid in the recreation, education and beautification of Oakland Parks and Recreation Centers.	Amount to donate
Maintenance: Donate to Friends to aid in our current park maintenance issues. With the current budget cuts we know there is less staff and resources to maintain our parks. With your help we can develop specific funds to be used to support and enhance park maintenance issues.	Amount to donate
General Services: To maintain our good works Friends needs assistance with our day to day expenses to keep our doors open. Aid our efforts by donating funds to be used towards our staffing, office expenses and outreach efforts.	Amount to donate
Renovation: Interested in aiding in the development of park renovations, like building new play structures, enhancing gardens or redeveloping sports fields. Help Friends by providing funds for park renovation efforts.	Amount to donate
West Oakland Soccer Club: Friends is supporting fundraising efforts to provide necessary financial support for economically disadvantaged players in the new West Oakland Soccer Club. WOSC is the newest Club in the Jack London Youth Soccer League. League fees for the Club have been reduced by 75%. Therefore, donations will be available entirely for uniforms and team equipment such as balls and first aid kits. Please aid us by donating funds for this project to create opportunities for healthful exercise for girls and boys from age 6 through 18.	Amount to donate

*IN-KIND DONATIONS* Friends of Oakland Parks and Recreation can use your assistance in all kinds of ways, below are some ideas of material or service donations that can aid in our development. Grant Support: Friends provides supplies to many activities occurring in the parks and recreation centers, you can aid that process by contributing items such as: Sports Equipment, Sports Apparel, Plants or Planting materials, Art Supplies, Printing Services, Computer Equipment and Software, etc. General Support: Assist Friends by providing equipment or service donations to aid in our outreach efforts. Computer Equipment, Printing Services, Office Supplies, and Promotional items, etc. Project Support: Provide materials or labor to aid in park renovations: Materials such as lumber, tools, plants, playground equipment, etc. and/or Services such as construction, painting, design, etc. PLEASE NOTE: We only accept bulk donations of in-kind items like sports equipment, art supplies and apparel, as we do not have the resources to handle one off donations.
