Welcome to the resources area of our website.  Friends of Oakland Parks and Recreation working in conjunction with the Oakland Parks Coalition hopes to promote Park Stewardship efforts and demonstrate to the community that by working together we can maintain and improve Oakland Parks.

We hope you will consider signing up to be a park steward to aid us in this process.  In this section we encourage you to let us know about the status of your parks, you can accomplish this by filling out a park survey and/or entering any specific maintenance issues that need to be addressed at your local park or recreation center.  Surveys will be tabulated so we can track the progress of our parks and identify the areas that need the most assistance.  Specific Maintenance issues will be sent directly to staff at Oakland Parks and Recreation and will also be collected in a database so we as citizens can track the results.    We believe that citizens can make a difference in their parks!

Park Surveys
You can help us improve and maintain our parks by giving us the benefit of your experiences and observations. You can fill out the survey on-line by clicking here after you have toured the park and you can also print out a survey to take with you into the parks..

Maintenance Forms
Have you noticed a Maintenance Problem at a local park? These forms make it easy to report on the status of your parks. Simply click here and enter your problem an email will be sent directly to the parks department maintenance staff and be kept in a database for tracking.
