Friends bridges the gap
between The City of Oakland's Office of Parks and Recreation's funding and the public's need for safe, clean
and well maintained parks and recreation centers. There are three
services that Friends provides to accomplish our mission:
1) We serve as a fiscal
agent for organizations pursuing similar programs and projects.
2) We fund capital
improvement projects like Raimondi Park.
3) We provide grants to
worthy programs and projects.
Your membership dues,
donations, grants, solely fund FOPR. We could not continue to
provide the services that touch so many
citizens of Oakland without the continued support of individuals like
you. Please consider
