FRIENDS MEMBERSHIP HAS ITS PRIVILEGES
Friends has been a supporter of Oakland parks for more than 26 years, offering valuable services and providing funding to programs and projects taking place in our parks and recreation centers. Friends has provided scholarships for underprivileged children to attend camp, take music lessons and learn to swim and outfitted sports teams and provided valuable supplies to volunteers so that they can continue running programs in our recreation centers. Without the membership and donations of concerned citizens, Friends could not be there for Oakland’s parks. Now, more than ever, we need ALL concerned citizens to join us.

WHAT YOUR MEMBERSHIP LEVEL SUPPORTS:

•  $1,000 can provide the purchasing and planting of 4 street trees.

•  $500 can provide equipment for two soccer teams.

•  $250 can provide 16 students the ability to participate in a 3 day Sailing
  into Science program.
   

• $150 can provide 7 children with Swimming Lessons.

YOUR PHILANTHROPIC LEADERSHIP OF $100 OR MORE WILL BE RECOGNIZED BY: 

• Recognition in our Newsletter and/or Annual Report.

• Recognition on our Web Site.

• Special Recognition at our Annual Meeting.

• Acknowledgement at our Annual Fundraising Event.
