Neighborhood Tree Planting
Temescal Neighbors is partnering with Sidewalk Trees & Gardens to plant 23 new street trees—and we need your help! Join your neighbors for a joyful, hands-on morning of digging, planting, mulching, and making our streets greener and cooler for everyone.
Whether you're an experienced gardener or just tree-curious, there’s a role for you. We’ll kick things off with coffee, donuts, training on how to plant the trees, and team assignments. Tools and a water dispenser will be provided, but feel free to bring your own shovel, gloves, and refillable water bottle if you have them.
Together, we’re growing a stronger, greener Oakland—one tree at a time.
