The City of Oakland and the Oakland Parks and Recreation Foundation want your input on DeFremery Park, as we plan to invest $200,000 in grant funding from The Clorox Company for park improvements. Your participation can help make it happen!
We will work with the community this fall to create a vision for the park. Take advantage of the following opportunities to tell us about how you use the park and your ideas for improvements:
In Person Community Meeting: Thursday, September 22 at 7:00PM, DeFremery Park Recreation Center Social Hall.
Virtual Community Meeting: Tuesday, September 27 at 7:00PM, on Zoom.
Park Events: We will be tabling at DeFremery Park to gather community feedback on Wednesday, September 28 at 12:00PM, and on Saturday, October 1 at 12:00PM.
Online Survey: If you are unable to join us at a scheduled event, take our online survey to provide more information on park improvement options.
