Anne Woodell Scholarship Fund
This is a restricted, year-round scholarship fund that helps children across Oakland attend Oakland Parks, Recreation and Youth Development swim programs. Named for Anne Woodell, a founding member of the Foundation and truly the “Mother of Oakland Parks and Recreation.” This fund supports the Oakland Swim Initiative, so that every child in Oakland can learn to swim by the 5th grade.

You will receive a donation receipt as your official record for tax purposes and regular updates about how your gift helps Oakland’s parks and recreation system.
