The Oakland Parks and Recreation Foundation is proud to announce that Dr. C.N.E. Corbin and Dale Marie Golden have joined our Board of Directors.

A former chair of the Oakland Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission, Dr. C.N.E. Corbin is an environmentalist and a political ecologist whose work focuses on public green spaces and how urban “sustainable development” initiatives and environmental policies and practices impact land-uses and urban public park access.
Dr. Corbin is a University of California, Berkeley alumni and a current faculty member at Portland State University.

A banker in the Oakland community for 28 years, Dale Marie Golden actively lends her financial expertise to local small businesses and nonprofits. She serves on the boards of the Oakland Ballet and the Oakland Teen Empowerment Program, while consulting another 11 nonprofits regarding fundraising and board development.
Dale Marie is a graduate of Colby College and a Vice President at Bridge Bank. Her current joy is her 2 year old grandson, Chance.
