FOSC Fern Ravine Restoration Workday

Fern Ravine is a unique intersection of ecosystems where oak woodland, shrub-scrub, grassland, wetland, and redwood forest ecosystems meet. As a headwater tributary stream, the Fern Ravine Creek that connects these zones plays a critical role in maintaining the health of the entire Sausal Creek Watershed.

Join Friends of Sausal Creek for a habitat restoration workday of weeding in Fern Ravine. The workday will begin with a brief tour of the wetland and redwood restoration at this site which FOSC has been stewarding for over a decade.
