  1. i am excited to provide my input. however, the visuals of the park location are very poor and low quality. Difficult to provide meaningful input with such low quality visual.
    thx

    1. We’ll look forward to having your input and will note the need for high quality visuals to encourage participation.

  2. Hello! As a resident of Oakland and one who lives directly across the street from the Verdese carter park of over 30 years I’m excited to participate in the recreation of Verdese Carter Park. Over the past years I have wanted a change to occur with the park. I utilized the park as a child , but as an adult with a toddler I have found it safer and more effective to leave city of Oakland and go to neighboring cities to use their parks due to lack of play equipment and overall park environment. Thank you for the opportunity to participate

As a 3 year resident of Oakland and living a few blocks away I was very happy to the Oakland Police dept involved with the children on some of the events they have held there I believe that was such a positive for the neighborhood and especially for the many children that can have a safe place to go to

  4. I lived the neighborhood, grew up in the park. Curious where the project is and have some ideas I’d like to contribute. Hope its not too late

    1. Hi Stephen, thanks for your interest! The initial design phase is complete and a draft vision was submitted to seek state funding for park improvements. We hope to have further updates soon!
