Earth Day Volunteering for the Oaks with Conservancy

When: April 18, 2026

Join Lake Merritt Conservancy for a hands-on community stewardship event dedicated to supporting the health of Lake Merritt’s beloved Coast Live Oaks and other shade trees. Volunteers will help apply sheet mulching, a sustainable, soil-building practice that improves moisture retention, enriches soil structure, and promotes long-term tree vitality.

Where: Lakeside Park Snack Shack on Buckeye Hill, near Edoff's Bandstand
